The Family First Sale: Part Two
“On our way, but not there yet.”
When the pandemic began, it hit all of us hard, and in different ways. It feels like no part of the world has been left unchanged by the past few months. From a global movement to create genuine equality for Black lives, to wearing masks as a new normal, we see that true community is taking responsibility for our neighbors and their safety.
The Challenges & Solutions
Economic recovery has been slower than we had hoped. Brick and mortar stores, including boutiques that sell our products, and our Nashville Flagship Store, have taken a big hit over the past five months. While the face-to-face world returns slowly, our online store has allowed us to stay innovative and survive the pandemic’s most significant hits – your response to our April “Family First” online warehouse sale made us grateful beyond measure.
(P.S. Our Nashville store is open, so bring your mask and come on by!)
Impact from the your support
Here is the progress we’ve made since the first “Family First” Online Warehouse Sale. As we had reported, we had to make the challenging decision to furlough over 60% of our staff in late March. So far, we’ve been able to bring the majority back, some through modified positions, and some full-time. It’s been a tough couple months, but we continue to see a clear path to fully restoring ABLE. The first Family First Sale was an enormous part of saving our business, and this second one will help us to continue towards the goal of bringing everyone back.
Details of the Sale
So, to help get us closer to the finish line, we are having “The Family First Online Warehouse Sale: Part Two.” If you’ve ever been to our Nashville Warehouse Sale, you can expect similar deals – from the comfort of your couch. Here are the details:
