ABLE Copywriter

Reports to Story Manager


About the Copywriter

We’re looking for a part-time copywriter to join our creative team. You’ll work closely with the Story Manager and Creative Director to align on brand voice and communication strategies. You’ve got a passion for fashion and you are a master of messaging. Your copy is smart and engaging, inspiring and informing the ABLE customer across all touchpoints. 

What you’ll do:

  • Write compelling copy for site, email, digital ads, social, and SMS
  • Partner with product designers to develop naming and product descriptions for the site 
  • Assist Story Manager with brand campaigns and other writing projects as needed
  • Assist Partnerships + PR Director on concepting, ideating, and wordsmithing 
  • Attend marketing and creative team weekly meetings
  • Stay up to date on ethical fashion, social impact, and pop culture trends

What We’re Looking For:

  • A creative, flexible copywriter with 2+ years of experience, skilled at writing customer-centric copy 
  • An understanding of copy needs and goals across digital channels including email, paid ads, PR, social, SMS, and landing pages 
  • The ability to describe product features in an informative and inspiring way and utilize keywords for effective SEO 
  • Experience working with designers to concept and produce on-brand, on-strategy marketing deliverables 
  • A collaborative approach, skilled at taking feedback and changes to create the ideal final product  
  • An attention to detail with it comes to writing, grammar, and spelling 
  • Solid time-management skills 
  • Retail product writing experience is a plus

Start Date: immediate

Compensation: hourly rate, based on experience
