ABLE is growing our Planning team and we are searching for an associate to help build and manage our category assortments. Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 1 year experience in Buying, Planning, or Distribution
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interest in learning and applying the statistical components of the business (IMU%, MD%, GM%, selloff, WOS, etc.) and open-to-buy process.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated decision-making and problem-solving skills
Job Responsibilities
- Manage and Create all products within internal systems
- Manage assortment sheets for buyers and planners
- Maintain photo libraries of samples
- Maintain retail pricing structure that aligns with company’s strategy and considers relevant competitors
- Analyze and interpret company sales data to inform merchandising decisions
- Analyze and calculate needed actions on inventory purchases
- Keep our customer’s best interest at the core of all decisions
- Present assortment opportunities to design team
